As a freelancer I work within a wide variety of positions ranging from Director to a Technical Director to 3D Artist. I’ve worked with studios like Builders Club, Blinkink, Minimal Collective, Ozon Studio and for clients including Bad Bunny, Stormzy, Rockstar Energy, Suunto and Kone. My visual work has been featured in FACT Magazine and live installations and visuals at events like Amsterdam Dance Event.

Veli Studio
Co-Founder, Producer, Animation Director, 3D Lead
April 2011 - September 2022

I founded Veli Studio with my brother from the spark of skateboard videos and within 11 years we built the company to employ 10+ people and to work with the top agencies and clients in Finland. My role was leading our 3D motion graphics team, producing our projects, developing our digital approaches and researching upcoming technologies, working with the clients and agencies ensuring the expectations are met creatively, technically and within budget.

As a director and visual artist, I bring stories to life with cg and real-time animation. I have a passion for creating and animating characters, as well as designing cinematic and emotional environments and crafting beautiful product imagery. I have led teams and an animation studio for years, and I enjoy working collaboratively and independently on research and development projects. I live in London, but I work with clients from all over the world. I grew up in Helsinki, where I developed my artistic vision and skills.

I’m always curious about new technologies and how to make things that are original and innovative. As a director, I look for simple emotions in complex worlds that mix sci-fi, surrealism and reality.

I have a background in film making, live visuals and motion graphics. I have directed and animated many successful commercials and won several awards, such as an ADC’E Gold, three Silver Awards at Vuoden Huiput, Junior of the Year at Vuoden Huiput and a Vimeo Staff Pick.
